5-4-3 Recommended Settings for Eye Control (Recommended Customization 1 Example)

This section explains AF without using eye control and AF using eye control based on recommended settings (Setting step 2a) in 5-4-2. Using eye control allows you to quickly move the AF position even during AF and continuous shooting.

Shutter button half-press operation (focusing without using eye control)

Follow the steps in Chapter 5-5-2 Step 2a to cancel [Move AF point by eye control] on shutter button half-press. Shutter button half-press focuses using normal AF without eye control.

Moving the AF frame with eye control using the <AF-ON> button (focusing using eye control)

Start AF/continuous shooting

Assign [Moving AF point, start AF by eye ctrl] to the <AF-ON> button. To use eye control, press the <AF-ON> button to start AF.

AF/continuous shooting on

You can switch subjects with eye control using the <AF-ON> button even when pressing the shutter button for AF or during continuous shooting.
