4-2 Action Priority Setting Instructions

Selecting a target sport to shoot in [Action priority]

  1. Choose [People] in [Subject to detect].

  2. Choose [Action priority] [Enable].

    [Action priority] [Enable] selection screen

    * Note that the default setting is [Disable].

  3. In [Target sports], select one of the following: [Soccer], [Basketball], [Volleyball].

    * Note that if the [Target sports] selection does not match the actual sport, the setting may not function correctly.

When action priority is set to [Enable], the subject to detect icon displayed on the EVF will switch to the action priority icon.

Assigning a button to [Enable] and [Disable][Action priority]

You can use Customized buttons for shooting to use the <M-Fn>, <M-Fn2>, <AE lock> button, etc., to [Enable] and [Disable] action priority.

Doing so allows you to quickly switch [Action priority] settings whenever you like.

Caution

Action priority settings are not available in the following cases:

  • Movie recording
  • When [Shutter mode] is set to [Mechanical] or [Elec. 1st-curtain]
  • When [Subject to detect] is set to anything other than [People]
  • When [HF anti-flicker shooting] is set to [Enable]
