3-2 Registering People
Registering with [Photograph people and register] or [Reg. people from image on card]
There are two ways to register people, with [Photograph people and register], and with [Reg. people from image on card].
Registering people in an image that is close to the actual shooting circumstances can improve performance.
For example, when photographing a rugby player who will be wearing headgear during a game and data registered without the headgear produces insufficient detection results, registering an image of the player wearing the headgear can improve performance.
Photograph people and register
Start the registration shooting mode and then photograph and register the desired person.
Reg. people from image on card
You can use still images saved on the card for registration.
This feature is useful if you want to use a person from an image you already have or if you want to register a person who moves quickly, such as when playing sports. To register a person moving quickly, photograph them in advance using continuous shooting, then select a natural expression as seen from the front for registration.
Even images shot on a camera other than the one being used for registration can be used as long as they can be viewed on the camera.
* Note that not all images are guaranteed to be viewable or be available for registration.
