Transferring RAW Images to Photoshop
Individual RAW images can be converted to 16-bit TIFF images and transferred to Adobe Photoshop.
-
Select a RAW image to transfer.
-
Select [Transfer to Photoshop] in the [Tools] menu.
-
Photoshop starts up and displays the transferred image.
-
Caution
- Only one image can be transferred at a time. To send multiple images at a time, see Transferring Images to Other Image Editing Software.
- Requires Photoshop 7.0 or later.
- Transferred images are automatically converted to 16-bit TIFF images with an added ICC profile (). The ICC profile contains information about [Preferences] () or the working color space () set for each image as described, and the required color information is passed to Photoshop.
- Exiting Photoshop will discard the transferred image, and only the original RAW image will remain. Saving the transferred image as a separate image in Photoshop is recommended.
