Digest Movie Editing

Individual chapters (clips) recorded in Hybrid Auto mode can be erased. Be careful when erasing clips, because they cannot be recovered.

  1. Switch to playback.

    • Press the Playback button.

  2. Select a still photo with an attached digest movie.

    • Turn the Quick control dial dial to select a still photo that includes a digest movie.
    • In single-image display, still photos with attached digest movies are labeled with [Digest movie] in the upper left of the screen.
    • In index display, press the Quick Control/Set button to switch to single-image display.

  3. In single-image display, press the Quick Control/Set button.

    • The playback Quick Control screen is displayed.

  4. Play the digest movie.

    • Press the Quick Control/Set button.

  5. Press the Quick Control/Set button to pause the digest movie.

  6. Select a clip.

    • Use [Skip backward] or [Skip forward] to select a clip.

  7. Erase the clip.

    • Press the AF point selection button, then select [Erase clip].

  8. Select [OK].

    • The clip is erased, and the digest movie is overwritten.
