Receiver Camera Registration and Group Settings

    Start the EMR application on the terminal to register the receiver camera and configure the group settings.

Registering from the EMR Application

  1. Tap [Camera List] in the main screen ().

  2. Tap [Add Camera] on the displayed screen.

  3. Enter the IP address of the receiver camera on the displayed screen and tap [Ping].

    • If [User authentic.] is set to [On] in the receiver camera connection, enter the user name and password.
    • If an error is displayed, check the address setting, etc. or the network connection.
  4. Tap [SET].

Group Settings

Up to five receiver camera groups can be set for batch operation.

  1. Tap [Group Settings] on the main screen ().

  2. Tap the group to configure.

  3. Set the group name and display color and tap [OK].

Caution

  • Group settings configured in the application are separate from group settings used when configuring receiver camera groups. Changes to one set of settings are not applied to the other.

  • Tap the button for each group on the Multi View screen to shoot with the cameras configured for the group ().

Registering a single camera to multiple groups

Individual receiver cameras can be assigned to multiple groups.

  1. On the main screen, tap [] for the camera with group settings to change.

  2. On the [Select function] screen, tap [Change Group].

  3. Select check boxes of groups to add the camera to, then tap [OK].

    • Clearing all check boxes assigns the camera to [No Group].

Registering from the Sender Camera

If the sender camera is connected, the receiver camera can be registered from the sender camera.

  1. Display the [Network settings] screen on the menu screen of the sender camera and select [Connection option settings].

  2. Select [EOS Multi Remote settings] on the [Connection option settings] screen.

  3. Select [Receiver settings].

  4. Select [RC* Unspecified] on the [Receiver settings] screen.

  5. Select [IP address] on the next screen.

    • The entry screen is displayed.
  6. Enter the IP address and press the <> button.

    • You will return to the previous screen.
  7. Select [Receiver name].

    • The entry screen is displayed.
  8. Enter the receiver name and press the <> button.

Note

  • On the EOS R1 and EOS 5D Mark II, you can use the button customization function to assign receiver camera groups to easy-to-operate buttons. For details, see the Advanced User Guide for each camera.

Receiver Camera Group Settings

Receiver camera groups can be set from the sender camera.

  1. Display the [Network settings] screen on the menu screen of the sender camera and select [Connection option settings].

  2. Select [EOS Multi Remote settings] on the [Connection option settings] screen.

  3. Select [Shooting groups].

  4. Select [Group *] and press the INFO button.

  5. Check the necessary items and select [OK].

    • When [SND] is unchecked, the sender camera will not shoot.
  6. Press the Quick Control/Set button button to return to the previous screen.
