Preset explanation
Canon 709
This setting conforms to ITU-R BT.709, and is intended for movie straight from the camera.
It is used for viewing in a BT.709 environment. Compared to BT.709, it features a wider highlight range, delivering a film-like image style with a focus on skin tones.
BT.709 Standard
This setting conforms to ITU-R BT.709, and is intended for movie straight from the camera.
It is used for viewing in a BT.709 environment and when conformance to the BT.709 standard is necessary.
Canon Log 2
This Log setting is intended for post-production work. Compared to Canon Log 3, this setting offers better gradation in shadows. View assist can be used for monitoring in CMT 709.
Canon Log 3
This Log setting is intended for post-production work. This setting is similar to Canon Log, and offers comparatively easy movie processing. View assist can be used for monitoring in CMT 709.
PQ
This setting conforms to ITU-R BT.2100 (PQ). It is used for viewing in an HDR PQ environment.
HLG
This setting conforms to ITU-R BT.2100 (HLG). It is used for viewing in an HLG environment.
