Changing Movie Orientation Information

You can manually edit movie playback orientation information (which determines which side is up).

  1. Select [Playback: Change mov rotate info].

  2. Select a movie.

    • Turn the Quick control dial 1 dial to select a movie with orientation information to change.

  3. Change the orientation information.

    • As you watch the camera and Image orientation icon in the upper left of the screen, press SET to specify which side is up. Each press of SET edits the movie rotation information as follows: [Movie orientation] → [Movie orientation right] → [Movie orientation left].

Caution

  • Movies are played horizontally on the camera and via HDMI video output, regardless of the [Set-up: Add Movie rotate info] setting ().
  • Movie orientation information of movies recorded with other cameras cannot be edited with this camera.
