Changing the Video Recording Quality

The recording quality for movies can be changed.

Note

  • Setting recording quality to a bit rate other than 12 Mbps will apply lower compression.
  • Higher recording quality increases the file size, but motion in these movies is smoother.
  • Movie recording may stop if the camera becomes hot. Consider using a lower recording quality if you prefer to record more or longer movies.
  • Playback will not be smooth for high bit rate movies or where Wi-Fi is congested. In this case, try playback after you download the file.

  1. Access the settings screen.

  2. Tap [Basic Camera Set.].

  3. Tap [Video recording quality].

  4. Select an option.
