Creating Highlights (iOS Only)

Still photos and movies can be combined to create a short movie of highlights. This feature is available only in iOS.

Tips Effective in these situations:

  • Creating highlights of a bride and groom from images at the wedding ceremony and reception
  • Creating highlights from vacation memories over several days
  1. Tap [Highlights icon (Highlights)] to access the highlights screen.

  2. Select the month and year of shooting.

    • Tap [Left icon]/[Right icon] to switch months and years.
  3. Select the range of shooting days.

    • Tap the starting date.
    • Tap the ending date.
    • To change the range, beginning with the starting date, tap again.
    • Dates with captured images are shown in black.
  4. Tap [Next].

  5. Select registered people to prioritize.

    • Selected people are identified by a check mark.
  6. Tap [Next].

  7. Adjust settings as needed.

    • Select [Length of highlights] to change the length of the highlight movie.
    • Select [Display time per photo] to change the display time for still photo highlights. [Display time per photo] cannot be set to [2 sec.] when [Length of highlights] is set to [2 min.] on smartphones with 2 GB of memory (RAM) or less.
    • Select [Background music] to change the background music.
  8. Tap [Next].

  9. Tap [Create].

    • A highlight movie is created from the images displayed.
    • To use different images, tap [Choose Manually] and select images. You can select up to 50 images on smartphones with 2 GB of memory (RAM) or less, or up to 80 images on smartphones with more than 2 GB of memory.
  10. Tap [Save].

    • The highlight movie created is saved to the smartphone.
    • To view the created highlight movie, select [Play].
