Shooting With Voice Commands

You can control the camera during auto shooting by speaking the commands listed in [Voice Commands] to it.

Caution

  • To use a voice command, start speaking within 5 seconds of calling out the camera.
  • Some factors may prevent the camera from recognizing voice commands, such as the distance to the camera, ambient noise, or your way of speaking or the loudness of your voice.
  • Movie recording started by a voice command will stop automatically in 2 min. Movie recording in progress during auto shooting will stop automatically when a voice command is detected.

Check available voice commands as follows.

  1. Tap [Gear icon (Settings)].

  2. Tap [Voice Commands].

Caution

  • The language of voice commands does not change if you change the smartphone language setting after starting the app. To change the voice command language, adjust [Voice command lang] in [Basic Camera Set.].
  • The camera may turn off automatically if it becomes hot during movie recording started by a voice command.

Turn off voice commands as follows.

  1. Tap [Basic Camera Set.].

  2. Turn off [Voice command].
