Supported Clips

This plug-in supports the following clips captured with EOS VR System equipment.

  • MP4 movies
  • RAW movies in Canon Raw Movie (CRM) format
  • JPEG images captured with image quality or resolution set as follows:

    • Camera

    Image quality or resolution

    EOS R5, EOS R5 C, EOS R5 Mark II

    L, M, or S1

    EOS R7, EOS R50 V

    With RF-S3.9mm F3.5 STM DUAL FISHEYE: L or M

    With RF-S7.8mm F4 STM DUAL: L, M, S1, or S2

    EOS C80, EOS C400

    4096×2160 or 3840×2160

    Other cameras

    L or M
  • JPEG images produced from RAW processing without in-camera resizing or cropping
  • JPEG images upscaled on the EOS R5 Mark II (original image: [Img type/size]: [L], [Cropping/aspect ratio]: [FULL])

Caution

  • Before working with clips in HEVC format, download and install the version of Canon HEVC Activator for your camera from the Canon website.
  • [Horizontal Correction] is not available for the following clips, although they can be converted to equirectangular images with the application.
    • Images that were resized on the camera
    • JPEG images that were either edited in Digital Photo Professional or produced from RAW image processing in DPP
    • Images edited in image processing software in a way that removes the equirectangular conversion metadata
  • Images cropped on the camera may not be converted correctly.

Note

  • When working with CRM clips in Adobe Premier Pro, consider using files exported from EOS VR Utility (ver. 1.2.0 or later).
  • Any new versions that are available can be downloaded by clicking [Check for Updates].
  • You can access the EOS VR System website by clicking [Open Canon Website].
