Viewfinder Priority Mode

In this mode, the viewfinder is activated when a user is detected by the rear sensor.

  1. Select [Shooting: Viewfinder priority mode] ().

  2. Select [On].

Note

  • Shooting is only possible through the viewfinder when this feature is enabled.
  • Menu and playback display can be switched to the screen.
  • If no user is detected, auto power off is activated after the time set in [Auto power off] elapses.
  • Users may not be detected under low light or strong direct sunlight, or depending on how the camera is held.
  • Fewer shots may be available with this feature, which consumes more battery power.
