When aiming mainly for the rider during equestrianism, set [Subject to detect] to [People]. On the other hand, when aiming mainly for the horse, set [Subject to detect] to [Animals].
For AF Area, [Flexible Zone AF] is recommended when the subject size is small, and [1-point AF] is recommended when the subject is often framed over obstacles. [Flexible zone AF] may be useful when the movement is large, such as when jumping over obstacles.
