[Flexible zone AF] or [1-point AF] is recommended for [AF area].
Setting [Whole area tracking Servo AF] to [On] makes framing easier and adjust the composition.
When following a specific runner, we recommend setting [Case Auto characteristics] to [0], and when shooting while switching to another runner, setting it to [Responsive: +1], set [AF Area] to [1-point AF] and [Whole area tracking Servo AF] to [Off].
In cornering scenes or crowded scenes, change [Whole area tracking Servo AF] from [On] to [Off] to prevent the AF frame from switching to a subject other than your desired runner.
Selecting a slightly wider [AF area] such as [Expand AF area] helps keep the subject in the AF area.
