Shooting Remotely
Shoot remotely as you view the image on a smartphone. You can check the image as you shoot group photos, or you can check as you shoot subjects who are tracked automatically.
-
Tap [ (Camera)].
-
Tap [Video] or [Photo].
- When the camera detects a person, a white circle appears around their face, and tracking begins.
- Selecting [Video] as the shooting mode will show a gray frame around the recording area.
-
Set the camera direction and subject size.
- Adjust the camera direction by using the camera control (1) or by dragging.
- Adjust the subject size by using the zoom control (2) or by pinching open or closed.
-
Tap the shooting button.
- The camera shoots.
- To stop movie recording, tap the shooting button (3) again.
Caution
- A warning will be displayed if the camera becomes hot during remote movie recording. The camera may eventually turn off automatically if you continue using it this way.
Note
- To adjust image brightness (exposure compensation), tap [] (4).
To focus
Tap where you want to focus.
If you only wish to focus, turn off [Tracking], and turn it on if you wish to focus and track the subject to keep the person in the angle of view.
To track a different person
Tapping a subject to track changes the round frame from a dotted to a solid line, and tracking switches to the new subject.
