Registering Information About People

Up to 12 people recognized by the camera are automatically registered.

Any new person recognized is registered after a currently registered but unprotected person is removed.

To protect registered people, enter information about them.

Caution

  • Under the following conditions, people in captured images may not be registered:

    • If subjects are too far from the camera
    • If subjects are too close to the camera
    • If much of a subject's face is covered by a mask, hat, sunglasses, or other objects
    • When [Priority Setting] is turned off on the settings screen
    • If the shooting or settings screen is displayed in the app

Note

  • It is easier for the camera to register subjects at a distance of 50–100 cm.

Entering Information About People

  1. In [Registered], tap a person to enter information for.

    • Tap [Show All] to view a list of all registered people.

  2. Tap [Right icon].

  3. Enter the person's Name and Birthday.

    • After you enter the person's name or birthday, their information is protected.
    • Protected information is not automatically removed, even when new people are recognized.

Note

  • To prioritize a person in shooting, tap [Favorites icon] to change it to orange ().

Removing Registered People

  1. In [Registered], tap a person to remove.

    • Tap [Show All] to view a list of all registered people.

  2. Tap [Right icon].

  3. Tap [Delete].

  4. Tap [Yes].

Merging Registered People

If a person already registered is registered again as a different person, you can combine both records as being for the same person.

  1. In [Registered], tap a person to merge.

    • Tap [Show All] to view a list of all registered people.

  2. Tap [Right icon].

  3. Tap [Merge].

  4. Tap a person to merge.

    • Selected people are identified by a check mark.

  5. Tap [Merge].
